Welcome to our Playgroup!

We are run by a voluntary committee to which parents can be elected. We are members of the Pre-school Learning Alliance and have charitable status. We cater for childern from the term in which they are the age two and a half years. We are registered with Ofsted and in a recent inspection we gained a ‘good’ the highest grade which could be awarded at the time.

Our sessions run as follows:

Monday 9.00 to 11.45 and 12.45 to 3.15
Tuesday 9.00 to 11.45
Thursday 9.00 to 11.45 and 12.45 to 3.15 (afternoon for preschool children only)
Friday 9.00 to 11.45

On Monday and Thursday a lunch period, for those who want it, is included from 11.45am to 12.45pm. For funding purposes the length of each session is classed as 2 & a half hrs.

Fees

These are payable at the start of each half term. Fees are payable even when you child is ill or goes on holiday. Please place fees in an envelope marked with your child’s name and the sessions they attend. Fees are £7.50 per session as from September 2011.

Snacks

Milk will be available for each child. If your child does not drink milk, juice/water will be provided. Water will be available at all times throughout the session. We will encourage healthy eating e.g. crackers and cheese, fruit, breadsticks, carrot, cucumber sticks, soft cheese etc.
